Legal Psilocybin Retreats in the Netherlands
We offer small-group legal psilocybin truffle retreats in the Netherlands. Psilocybin can allow access to inner worlds that may be ordinarily difficult to see or reach. A well-held retreat supports that process and helps the experience become something lasting.
WHAT WE OFFER
We deliberately work with small groups to ensure everyone has space and attention for their experience.
Between us, we bring training in psychedelic-assisted therapy, transpersonal psychology and hypnotherapy, alongside years of experience holding this kind of work. Music, both recorded and live, as well as silence, are central to how we facilitate these sessions.
We work in English and French.
Psilocybin truffles are legal in the Netherlands, and this is where the retreats are held. This legal clarity means we can work openly and be fully accountable for what we offer.
Each person is screened individually before a place is confirmed, to ensure this approach is the right match.
THE SETTING
The retreat centre is a beautiful private space in the Dutch countryside, one hour from Amsterdam airport, surrounded by open land and sky. There is room to walk, to be outside, and to take space and time for the work. Participants sleep on site in comfortable rooms, and enjoy healthy vegetarian meals prepared by a local chef.
THE RETREAT
The retreat opens on Friday afternoon and closes on Sunday around midday. The psilocybin truffle session takes place on Saturday, held during the day. Around it there is time to arrive and prepare, to go inward, and to begin integrating what has emerged. The pace across all three days is unhurried. There is room for silence, nature, music, sharing and letting the experience unfold.
Preparation begins before the retreat, in individual sessions online or in person. One individual integration session is included after the retreat, in the weeks that follow.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-
The Nua Silta retreat is a guided wellness experience. It is not therapy, psychotherapy, or medical treatment of any kind, and we make no claims about outcomes. Psilocybin can open deep inner spaces. What you do with what arises, before the retreat, during it, and in the weeks that follow, is what gives the experience its meaning. We are here to hold that process with care and skill. We are not here to treat, fix, or prescribe anything.
-
Yes. Psilocybin truffles are legal to purchase and consume in the Netherlands. This is not a grey area. They are sold through licensed suppliers and have been used in facilitated settings there for many years. That legal clarity also means we can screen carefully, operate transparently, and be fully accountable for what we offer.
-
People come to this work for many different reasons. Some are carrying something they have not been able to shift through other means. Some are at a point of transition and looking for clarity. Some are simply curious and feel ready to look more closely at their inner life. There is no single profile. What matters more is a willingness to engage with what arises, before, during and after the retreat.
-
No. Many participants come with no prior experience. What matters more than experience is careful preparation, which we do together before the retreat, and a genuine willingness to engage with what arises. We ask for honesty during the screening process so we can understand where you are and whether the timing is right.
-
Before we confirm your place we do an individual health screening with each participant. There are certain medical and psychiatric conditions for which psilocybin is not appropriate, and we take these seriously. These include a personal history of psychosis, schizophrenia, or bipolar disorder type I, current use of lithium, MAOIs, or antipsychotic medication, uncontrolled cardiovascular conditions, and pregnancy or breastfeeding. Some other conditions, including current use of SSRIs, require individual assessment rather than automatic exclusion. If you are unsure whether any of this applies to you, get in touch and we will have an honest conversation.
